Delusional Disorder Discussion
Shaun Burns Visit 1 - Feb 22 2021
chart notes and commentary
Because my responses to Dr Burns' questions have been recorded on video, one can judge for one's self how accurately he characterized my assertions, demeanor. Burns' notes originally stated that I had "refused" to do the depression screening PHQ-9 but in fact I'd never been asked to do that test. When I pointed this out to Dr Burns, he adjusted that part of the record.
There is a pull quote "I am subject to a trauma-based mind control system." What I actually said was "this is a trauma based mind control system" (8:35) - and I said it in the context of talking about behaviors of my parents and other family members. Burns appears to have pulled the quote from a video I published in 2018.
In subsequent videos, Dr Burns claims he's never heard of trauma based mind control or MKULTRA. He does not admit to being aware that there are instances where psychological trauma is used deliberately to shape personalities in growing children or to coerce and manipulate people of all ages.
Burns notes that the initial diagnosis of delusional disorder showed up on my records on June 3, 2014. This was a visit at OHSU with Dr Brian Frank and the records of this visit are particularly problematic. This was among the records that I tried, unsuccessfully, to correct with OHSU through an administrative process back in 2015.
In fact, the first time I ever heard the word "delusional" used in regards to me, was from my mother in January 2014 when I told her about the surveillance going on, the danger to myself and my daughter, and asked her to help us get a bug detector to try and see where the surveillance devices might be. Her response was that there were no surveillance devices and that I was delusional. Four years later I learned she had been taking part in the surveillance trafficking the whole time, and she too was involved in covering her own involvement in the crime.
I later learned that a police officer I'd tried to file a report with on January 20, 2014 told a doctor at Adventist Hospital that I was having "paranoid delusions" simply because I was trying to report a crime.
Burns writes "Pt appears to have ongoing preoccupations with persecution by various entities and organizations and voiced distress about having the information she contends supports her beliefs discounted by various medical professionals." This, from my perspective, is an incredibly stubborn and resistant refusal to take my claims of being a crime victim seriously. As for my beliefs being discounted, you can hear me say again and again that I'm willing to provide evidence for any specific claim. He never asks me for evidence throughout the series of visits, and is resistant to my presenting him with evidence. The evidence he did see before the first visit, he claims is not compelling.
